If you had a ton of maple cream and was invited to a pig roast what would you do?  Read on to see what we did...

We made Fried Dough with Maple Cream, of course!  This was a last minute decision so we went to Big Y and bought already made dough.  If we had known a head of time we would have made our own dough.  Then we spent about 30 minutes pre-cutting the dough and putting it in a cooler.  We lined the cooler with wax paper and put wax paper between each row of dough.

The pig roast was across the street at the neighbors house.  We loaded up the trailer behind the atv with all things necessary to make fried dough with maple cream.  I should have taken a picture of this but honestly I forgot.  Here is a picture of Jim cooking the dough.

We used the trailer and a couple of coolers as a table to cook and serve off of.

Oh! Let me tell you about the disaster with the dough.  You would think that dough would not stick to wax paper.  What a mess we had.  It took a lot of patience to get the dough unstuck from all the wax paper.  It is a good thing we had extra dough back at the house.  I hoped right on the other atv and went back to the house.  I came back with all the extra supplies needed to cut up the extra dough.

Here is another action shot of Jim.

Once the dough is cooked in oil it needs the maple cream.  Well that was my job.  Here is a shot of me putting maple cream on some dough.

For a last minute decision we were pretty sucessful.  We even had a little girl ask us if we did birthday parties :)

Doesn't that look delicious!?
